|President – Bill Baker, Vice President, Coventry, Dallas
As Vice President of Coventry, Bill contributes to Coventry’s vision, mission and overall direction, with a focus on sales. With more than 20 years of experience in workers’ compensation, Bill has proven his knowledge of the industry through in-depth work with carriers, state funds and large employers.
Bill has served as Vice President or Senior Vice President for five healthcare companies: Catastrophic Management firm Paradigm, Healthcare Management firm First Health/Coventry, Healthcare Management firm CCN, Managed Care firm MedInsights and Healthcare facility developer CRAssociates.
He serves on the membership committee for Kids Chance of America and is the President of Kids Chance of Texas. Bill is also an active member with AmComp and an Associate Member with AASCIF. Bill holds a BS in Education from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of Arkansas. Bill and his wife Nan, live in Heath, TX and have three children, Aubrey a Junior at the University of Arkansas, Ainsley and Senior at Rockwall High School and Ayden a Freshman at Heath High School.
|Mike Bell, Senior Vice President, Marsh, Inc., Dallas
Mike joined Marsh in May of 2016 as the Sales Leader for the South Central Partnership, which includes the Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana territory. In this role, he is responsible for the development and execution of Marsh’s growth strategy within the region.
Mike has over two decades of industry experience in business development and executive roles. Prior to joining Marsh, he was EVP of Business Development for Gallagher Bassett and a member of both its Executive Committee and Operating Committee.
He currently serves as the Treasurer for Kids Chance of Texas. Mike holds a Finance degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and as well as an MBA from SMU. Mike and his wife Melanie, live in Dallas, TX and have two children, Brendan and Kylie.
|Faye Bracey, Assistant Dean of Career Services, St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio
Faye M. Bracey, is active in the San Antonio legal community and well known in legal circles across the state. She practiced at several area firms, specializing in commercial real estate, has taught at St. Mary’s University School of Law since 1987, and became Assistant Dean on June 1, 2009. She served as an adjunct professor of law for San Antonio College from 2004-2009. She has served as president of the St. Mary’s Law Alumni Association, was a member of the St. Mary’s University Board of Trustees as well as held leadership positions with many community organizations, such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Antonio Affiliate, the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association, San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, Alamo Heights Independent School District, the Monte Vista Garden Club and the Battle of Flowers Association. She graduated from St. Mary’s with a Doctor of Jurisprudence, with distinction, in 1981 and is licensed to practice in Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in 1973.
Faye has one married daughter who lives with her husband and three and a half year old daughter in San Antonio, and another daughter who works and lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where Faye grew up.
|Lynette Caldwell, Senior Vice President Human Resources, Texas Mutual Insurance Company, Austin
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Texas Mutual Insurance Company Lynette is responsible for ensuring programs and practices are in place to attract, retain, develop and reward excellent employees. Lynette joined Texas Mutual in 1999, serving as Senior Manager of Human Resources, Senior Manager of Compensation and Benefits, and Vice President of Human Resources. In January 2015, the company promoted her to Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Texas Mutual, Lynette spent eight years in leadership positions at TN Technologies, Inc. Lynette earned a business degree with honors from The University of Texas. She is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and former Chair of the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds Human Resources Committee.
Lynette has been a member of the Kids’ Chance of Texas Board of Directors since June 2015 and she chairs the Scholarship Committee. Lynette and her husband Doug live in Austin, TX and have one daughter, Allison, who lives in Dallas, TX.
|Jennifer Saddy, Director Workers’ Compensation at American Airlines, Inc., Dallas
Jennifer Saddy has over 17 years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation, and she is currently the Director of Workers’ Compensation for American Airlines. She has been recognized for the impressive results that she has achieved following the overhaul and re-design of the Workers’ Compensation program following the merger of US Airways and American Airlines as a recipient of the 2015 Teddy Award from Risk & Insurance and named on the President’s Honor Roll from Work Comp Central. This merger created the world’s largest airline and the Workers’ Compensation program covers over 100,000 employees. She began her career in aviation 10 years ago at US Airways in Risk Management. However, her career in the Workers’ Compensation industry began as an adjuster for Sentry Insurance. In addition, Jennifer currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of Texas. Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
|Mike Sprain, Personal Injury Attorney, Sprain Law Firm, Houston
Michael L. Sprain is a Texas Worker’s Compensation and Longshore/DBA attorney in Houston, Texas. He has been Board Certified in Worker’s Compensation by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2004 and is a Fellow of the College of Worker’s Compensation Lawyers. Mr. Sprain has served as chair of the Worker’s Compensation Section of the Texas State Bar and has served as chair/co-chair of the Advanced Worker’s Compensation Seminar. He has written extensively on work related injuries and routinely speaks on Texas Worker’s Compensation, Longshore, and DBA claims. Along with various professional associations, Mr. Sprain is also a member of the National Football League Player’s Association’s Workers Compensation Panel and the Professional Hockey Players Association’s Workers Compensation Panel.
Mike serves on the fundraising committee for Texas’ Chapter of Kids’ Chance of America. He holds an Associates of Arts of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, a Bachelor of Business Administration for Florida Atlantic University and a J.D. Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He and his wife, Patty, live in Houston, Texas and have three children, Adriana a graduate student at Sam Houston State University, Elizabeth, a Junior at Houston Academy for International Studies, and Matthew, a student at The Rice School. Mike and his family are actively involved in supporting or promoting area shelters, local charities, schools, churches, and non-profit organizations.

Jane Stone is a partner at Stone Loughlin & Swanson LP, focusing on administrative, health and workers’ compensation law. She received her BS from the University of Central Oklahoma and JD from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990. Stone’s professional affiliations include the College of the State Bar of Texas; Austin Bar Association (Member Administrative Law Section); State Bar of Texas (Member, Administrative and Public Law Section); National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network, Board of Directors; Member, Defense Research Institute; Member, Council on Litigation Management; American Bar Association Section on Labor and Employment Law, Program Co-Chair,2016-2017; Founding Board Member, Kids’ Chance of Texas; Invited Speaker, Insurance Council of Texas; Program Committee, Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Texas.
She is a member of the National College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, past vice-chair of Workers’ Compensation Law Advisory Commission of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and was on the Workers’ Compensation Law Advisory Commission, Texas Board of Legal Specialization from 2004 to 2010.
|Chad Wieberg, Risk Manager, NCI Building Systems, Inc., Houston
As Risk Manager of NCI Building System, Chad Wieberg contributes to NCI’s vision, mission, and overall direction by focusing on the protection of both human and physical assets of the company. With more than 15 years of experience in Risk Management, Chad has proven knowledge of the industry. Chad has served as Risk Manager for NCI Building Systems, Inc. since 2009. Prior to 2009, Chad served as Claims Specialist for NCI Building Systems. He holds a BAAS from University of North Texas, an Associates in Risk Management (ARM-E), Management Liability Specialist Certification (MLIS), and is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional from Michigan State University.
Chad has been married to his wife Kimberly for 17 years and has 3 children: Aubrey, Addison, and Evan. They just finished their fifth year of homeschooling. The kids enjoy their outside activities including Destination Imagination and swim team. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities like biking, swimming, camping, and family day trips through the great State of Texas.
